Benue Flood Relief Initiative

Benue flood: 2face, Annie donate to IDPs in Makurdi

Renowned musician, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2face, has donated assorted relief materials to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Makurdi, Benue.
Idibia, accompanied by wife, Mrs Annie Idibia and his friends, made the donation on Tuesday.
He said that his prompt response to the plight of the displaced persons was to let them know that he, his family and friends were solidly behind them.
“The gesture is aimed at giving hope to the displaced persons and to ameliorate their hardship,” he said.
He assured the displaced persons that he and his friends would send more relief materials to them to cushion their sufferings.
While urging the IDPs not to loose hope, Idia promised that they would not be forsaken by individuals, groups and the government.
The wife of the Benue Governor, Mrs Eunice Ortom, commended Idibia for coming to the aid of the displaced persons.
She said that the state was proud of him for the humanitarian assistance he had been rendering to people across the globe.
She said that the materials donated by him and others would help to ameliorate the sufferings and bring succour to the IDPs.
Ortom also expressed appreciation to other individuals, corporate organizations and government, who donated relief materials to the displaced persons.
She noted that the gesture was demonstration of love and concern for the displaced persons.
A representative of Fidelity Bank, Mr Emmanuel Aduku, said the bank had donated relief materials worth N1 million to alleviate the sufferings of the IDPs.

Crowdfunding; Relief to orphanages homes.

You can now sponsor the hosting of FUNDRAISING TEMPLATE of your favorite orphanages to crowdfund firms like gofundme and generate $5000.00 within 30days for the home. see sample project below.

Pure and undefiled religion before the God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their tribulation; to keep oneself unstained from the world.

James 1:27

The Unforgotten Ones

In a village a couple of kilometres away from Lokoja in Kogi state;Nigeria, there lies a place called Oheari orphanage. The owner of this orphanage passed away and  since then, all the caretakers of the orphanage abandoned the place except for one. The lady in glasses in this picture. On discovering this, my mother decided to help by sending money to them every month through out this time period. The picture you can see is their first Christmas ever. As a result of the country's economic downfall, things are getting harder in terms of supplies however, we want to show these children that God has not forgotten them. We want to do more than help, we want to give these children a fighting chance to have the best opportunities possible for them to live their dreams. Please, no amount is little and no means of help will be overlooked. I pray that God blesses you as you bless others. Have a fantastic 2017

Nigerian orphanages goes crowdfunding

Hello, we are Joe and Melissa Dement. Our effort in creating this page is to not only get funding for our Nigeria Missionary trip, but to also get you involved with A Place of Hope -Africa.

On July 21th, we will be joining a team from Temple Baptist Church on a ten day mission trip to Nigeria. The purpose of this trip will be threefold.

·         Assist a local orphanage, A Place of Hope Africa, with a vacation bible study.

·         Repairs and maintenance of the orphanage facilities.

·         Ministering and outreach to the local community.

This trip is being funded entirely through donations and by those going on the mission trip. We are excited about the opportunity to serve and to minister, and ask you to join us in ministry.

We are seeking your support and prayers for this mission trip. If you are able to support us in a financial way, we would be very grateful. More importantly, we also need your prayer support.

Thank you so much for prayerfully considering if this is something you’d like to participate in.  May God bless you for your time and support.
