Ellie's House Girls' Orphanage

This is me, Ellie.  I am 12 years old, and I am from Alabama. Here I am with an orphan girl in Kampala, Uganda.  I had the chance to go to Uganda last June 2016 and love on the children in Kampala.  I am joining Pastor Nathan there to raise money for the girls orphanage which will be called Ellie's House since I am the youngest person to come visit the children and because I want to go back.

This trip changed my life, and now I feel like I know what my purpose is on this earth.  Having dyslexia and struggling in school really bothers me but when I was in Uganda with these children, I realized that most of what bothers me in the USA really doesn't matter.  I was so happy there! I can't wait to see this orphanage completed!

Above: with a baby girl who lives in a remote village outside of Kampala, Uganda, with her grandmother who is very poor and aging.

This is where Ellie's House will be!  The land is ready for construction and there is a well that has already been dug.
My mom and me next to the well that has already been dug for the boys and girls thanks to some generous people!

Ever since I came back to Alabama, I have longed to return to Uganda.  I plan to go every year, and eventually move there when I graduate from high school.  The children are so precious, but so many of them have no one to care for them, and they are hungry and roam around in the villages.  Many of them do not attend school because there is not enough money to pay for them or there is no one to care, (above)  This precious boy was abandoned by his mom and is now left with a grandmother who has difficulty in caring for him.
Below is a picture of the boys' orphanage that has already been built, but it is not finished yet.  With this $100,000, we will build Ellie's House and have money to help start the schools for both the boys and the girls! And I will go back in June 2017 with my mom and twin brother, Eli and my sister, Ivey, (pictured below)
I really want them to meet these children and experience what I have.

If we raise enough money through Kids Loving Kids, we will take some other kids/teens with us to Uganda and start yearly mission trips that will change both American kids and African kids' lives!  I hope you will join with us to make this dream a reality!

This is Pastor Nathan (far right) and his family. He has adopted many children himself.

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE! WILL YOU JOIN ME?
